What else? However, honey is the most adulterated food in the world, and bees are our planet’s most important species, playing a vital role in our ecosystem. Honey Sensorialist Lesley Crook buzzes in this unique experience, sharing the purest honey from her adopted beehive in Comunidad Valenciana, Spain, free from all pesticides and pollution.
Tasting a range of good and bad runny honey paired with food is not just about the taste. It’s also an opportunity to delve into your human sensory system and understand your palette with some surprising food pairings.

Bee Pollen? Discover the secret world of bee pollen bubbles, a little-known traditional Chinese medicinal superfood with therapeutic anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and antiviral health benefits. It is also part of the food pairing from the beautiful Valencian mountain region. The bubbles include protein, vitamins A, B complex, C, E, K, calcium, potassium, and magnesium.  Feedback.
A fundamental nutrient for the entire hive, especially for the larvae and pupae and the queen, whose protein intake is extraordinarily high, since she must produce a large number of eggs, up to two thousand a day. The pollen is collected by strategically positioned traps at the entrance to the hive. when the bees return from their forays, their hind legs brush against grilles that delicately detach the grains of pollen, making them fall into a container below.

What’s in it for me? Amazing healthy eating vibes, mindful sustainability for saving bees and growing wildflowers, and perhaps even a surprising treat for a bizzy hen dreaming about a “honey” moon with sparkling bubbles.
“I suffered from years of awfully itchy, swollen eyes and blotchy skin. I tried hay fever tablets, but they never helped. My condition has really improved since I started eating pure bee pollen bubbles from Spain. Plus, they taste much nicer than the ones I get online or from shops.” Lucy (14) East Sussex.
